Tenby is a walled seaside town in Pembrokeshire, South West Wales on the west side of Carmarthen Bay. Its notable features include 4 km of sandy beaches, the 13th century medieval town walls, the 15th century St. Mary's Church, the Tudor Merchant's House (owned by the National Trust), a museum with art gallery, and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, part of Wales' only coastal National Park.

Since 2006 this picturesque little coastal town, whose name means little fortress of the fish, has hosted a three-day Blues Festival in November, the idea behind it being to bring back some life to the town after the summer visitors had gone home. The festival features mainly British blues performers with an occasional visiting artist from the US.

This year the festival takes place from Friday 9th to Sunday 11th November 2012. In addition to the ticketed performances in various Tenby venues, there are lots of free gigs scheduled on the Pub and Club Trail all day Saturday and Sunday night. Plus there's an acoustic open mic session on the Saturday afternoon.
